2016, Palm Beach, and my FIRST Summer State of Mind Interview!
Hello, hello, my friends! I hope you are having the best week! Today is a little crazy around the Harvey household. Kristin Harmel and I are recording what is sure to be a GREAT episode of Friends & Fiction with Robin Benway and Omid Scobie for their forthcoming book ROYAL SPIN. Omid is a royal biographer, so it’s really like a backstage pass!
And then… A reporter and photographer are coming here for my FIRST interview and photos with SUMMER STATE OF MIND! How fun is that? It feels like it’s getting real. And then, best of all, we’re heading to Palm Beach for some sun (fingers crossed!), fun, relaxation and fishing. For the boys. No fishing for me. I have a huge list of things I want to do, with sitting on the beach at the very top. But I’ve never been to the Flagler Museum, which seems impossible to believe, so that’s definitely on there. And a little shopping never hurt anyone, right? Palm Beach is one of my favorite places, so I’m always excited for a trip!
Salt will be home with his favorite dogsitter/house sitter, but, as you can tell from our “workout” picture this morning, he knows something is up. That suitcase is out, and he’s not happy about it. But he got in a little Downward Dog this morning, and we know endorphins always help!

The year of LIES AND OTHER ACTS OF LOVE and my quote on a Kombucha bottle and so much fun! Wow, time flies. I can’t believe that little, tiny boy of mine is now 6’2”. And my thirteenth book is about to release. Unbelievable. What’s your favorite 2016 memory?
