Some book feel a little bit like a dream come true… This is one of those events!
On September 19th and 20th, I’m inviting you to come to Beaufort, North Carolina — the inspiration for the town of Peachtree Bluff— for the Falling for Peachtree Bluff Town Takeover, a weekend devoted to books, friendship, good food, a little bubbly, and the real-life places that have inspired so much of the Peachtree Bluff series. If you’ve ever wished you could step inside the pages of these books, this is about as close as we can get.
The wonderful Beaufort Historical Association and I have planned several different ways for you to join us, so you can pick the events that sound most fun to you or make a whole weekend of it!
Bonus: Llamas & Lattes will be popping up at the Beaufort Historic Site offering signature Peachtree Perk options for purchase and giving you the perfect place to gather before the day’s events begin. (And signature coffee sleeves, of course! Because we all need a little more Peachtree Perk in our lives!)
Saturday, September 19th
9:00 a.m. — Llamas & Lattes x Peachtree Perk Pop-Up at the Beaufort Historic Site (Featuring FREE, reusable Peachtree Bluff Coffee Sleeves for all attendees!)
11:00 a.m. — Beaufort Double-Decker Bus Tour
12:00 p.m. — Luncheon at Beaufort Grocery
5:00 p.m. — Wine & Cheese Reception at the Beaufort Historic Site
Sunday, September 20th
9:00 a.m. — Llamas & Lattes x Peachtree Perk Pop-Up at the Beaufort Historic Site
1:00 p.m. — Beaufort Double-Decker Bus Tour
And because no Peachtree Bluff weekend would be complete without gathering over a glass of champagne…
2:00 p.m. — Mimosas on the Lawn at the Beaufort Historic Site
2:30–4:00 p.m. — the Beaufort Historic Site will be open to anyone who would like to stop by, purchase a book, have it signed, and say hello even if you aren’t attending one of the ticketed events.
All attendees of events will receive a custom Peachtree Bluff champagne flute as a souvenir! (While supplies last… But we have a lot of supplies ;))
What makes this weekend so special to me is that Beaufort isn’t simply a backdrop. Its waterfront, historic homes, restaurants, people, and unmistakable sense of place have been woven into my writing for years. Getting to share some of those inspirations with the readers who have loved Peachtree Bluff alongside me feels incredibly full circle.
Grab your girlfriends, book club, mahjong group, sisters, mothers, daughters, husbands, sons or whoever you love taking a good trip with and come spend the weekend with us.
