I Wrote Falling for Peachtree Bluff. And Then Two Things I Wrote CAME TRUE. + People Magazine!

When I finished The Southern Side of Paradise and it released in 2018, I thought that was it for the Peachtree Bluff Series. And then my amazing readers kept asking for more and, in 2020, I wrote Christmas in Peachtree Bluff, which released in 2021.

I thought that would be it. I would be finished with Peachtree Bluff. But the absolute moment I finished Christmas in Peachtree Bluff, I knew what happened next. And I knew I had to write it, even if it was only just for me.

I laughed and cried and put this book on a shelf, knowing that my readers would probably never see it. But I am so incredibly grateful that Carrie Feron, my editor, asked for more Peachtree, because here we are with Falling for Peachtree Bluff now out in the world!

But here’s the weird thing: Not one but TWO things I wrote in that novel ended up coming true. First, as we were traveling around coastal communities in 2021, I started noticing a bit of a phenomenon happening in small towns that I thought could happen in Peachtree Bluff and would become one heck of a scandal. And then it did happen in my actual Beaufort, NC. Can you believe it?

Then, three of my dear sister friends filled me in early on some crazy news. And I nearly fell over. BECAUSE I HAD WRITTEN THIS SAME CRAZY THING IN FALLING FOR PEACHTREE BLUFF.

Sorry to be cryptic, but you know as well as I do that spoilers are no fun at all! But, when you get to the town scandal that appears to involve Jack and the big reveal from all three sisters at the end, just know that years after I wrote them, they happened in real life. You can’t even make this stuff up!

Pub Week is in Full Swing!

If you have been meaning to get a copy, there is still time for your purchase to become part of FALLING FOR PEACHTREE BLUFF’s all-important first week.

Join Us in Peachtree Bluff

  1. Share a photo and tag me at @kristywharvey on Instagram and @kristywoodsonharvey on Facebook and Substack.

  2. Tell a reading friend or your book club about it! Word of mouth is still queen when it comes to spreading the word about books!

  3. Leave a brief review on Amazon, Goodreads, BookBub, Barnes & Noble, Target, or anywhere else! You don’t have to have purchased from a certain place to leave a review. Even a great rating can help another reader discover a book!

I have so many more tour stops, and I’m hoping to see YOU!

Thank you for making this homecoming sweeter than I ever imagined!

Much love,

Kristy

The BEST part of publication week has been watching Peachtree Bluff come alive in your hands. Here are a few of the words that have stopped me in my tracks:

“There are some fictional families you visit once and move on from…and then there are the Murphys. 🥹💕 This one has everything I love about Peachtree Bluff: family drama, juicy gossip, small town charm, complicated relationships, lots of heart, and that warm, cozy Southern atmosphere… I forgot how much I loved this series, and now I’m fully prepared to read about the Murphy family for as many books as Kristy Woodson Harvey wants to give me.” 💕—Novel Gossip“

“It’s the best. Never miss her work. It’s an MF, must finish!”—Adriana Trigiani, New York Times Bestselling Author

“We dare you not to wish you were a member of this family!”
