Today, my wonderful hometown paper, the place I got my writing start, has looked after me once again. I was so astounded and thrilled to hear, from my friend Deirdre Smith, who was working at the paper when I was an intern and has continued to since, that they had named me one of Rowan County’s “10 to Watch” in 2016. I remember waiting every year for that issue to come out, so to be on it is really fun. I got to answer all kinds of great questions. In other news, one of my fave review mags, RT, featured Lies and Other Acts of Love in its Forewords column! With a little more than three months until the release, I’m getting very excited! (And nervous…)
