Happy Sunday, friends! I hope you have had an amazing weekend and that this January is setting you up for a great year ahead. One of my big goals this year was to start tracking everything I read on Goodreads. (Want to be friends over there?) I know. Hello, 2006. I’m only thirteen years late to the party. But I find myself reading all these incredible books and then when someone asks for a recommendation in a certain genre I. Can’t. Remember. Please tell me you do this too?
Anyway, my reading year is off to a great start so far. I have absolutely devoured:
- The Curiosities by Susan Gloss (Releasing in February)
- The Key to Happily Ever After by Tif Marcelo (Releasing April 23)
- The Overdue Life of Amy Byler by Kelly Harms (Releasing May 1)
- Bossypants by Tina Fey–listen to this one if you can. It’s even more hilarious!
- I’m a few chapters into Courting Mr. Lincoln (Releasing April 23) by Louis Bayard, and I am hooked. It’s a story told from the perspectives of Mary Todd Lincoln and Lincoln’s best friend and roommate Joshua Speed, and it’s captivating!
I am also gearing up for the launch of THE SOUTHERN SIDE OF PARADISE, the third book in my Peachtree Bluff series, and I am SO EXCITED.
