Hi, friends! I hope you’re all having an amazing day! I’m excited because my very first contributor piece for Domino magazine is up on the site! Today I wrote about the amazing and oh-so chic Andrew Howard. He’s funny and fun and just the kind of designer that anyone would love working with — including me!
I’m going to be writing about Southern style for Domino — designers, local shops, anything interior design related around the South. Because we’re so cool and happening around here! So if you have any ideas of friends you’d like to see on there, please feel free to let me know!

Are you all decorated and ready for the holidays? We’re finally decorating our tree today when Will gets home from school. And so excited! Our Elf on the Shelf is riding a reindeer on our kitchen table, so that’s pretty festive as well. It’s a nice, cold December day here perfect for hot chocolate and A Charlie Brown Christmas watching. Both are on the top of our to-do list today!

Speaking of, I have to show you some of my favorite gifts that I’ve gotten for friends and co-workers. My good friend and super-talented artist Kendall Boggs created this gorgeous line of Christmas gifts for my store, Shop Design Chic. And I think they’ve gone so fast and furiously that she’s going to have to hire some of Santa’s elves to help her get them all finished! Here are a couple of my favorite pieces from the collection:
